He makes thrown ware and handbuilt figures in oxidised stoneware. In the thrown work he uses a mixture of poured glazes often trying to contrast random glazed/unglazed areas against the more precise shapes of the pots. The figures are mainly of silly old men often with the addition of creatures such as pigeons, ferrets, frogs etc. These vary in size up to nearly lifesize.
