An exhibition by the Independent Cockermouth Artists 15 Sept 28 Sept
The autumn exhibition of Independent Cockermouth Artists (ICA) opens to the public on Thursday, September 16th at Thornthwaite Galleries.
The exhibition will feature a mixed collection of work from most of the 15 members of ICA – including sculpture, photography, prints and graphic art, including paintings in all the main mediums.
There will be a preview night for guests on Wednesday, September 15th – and the exhibition will close at 5pm on Tuesday, September 28th.
The group has a policy of supporting local good causes whenever the opportunity arises – and on this occasion, the proprietors of Thornthwaite Galleries, Ron and Ann Monk, have agreed to donate five per cent of the sales income to Cockermouth Churches Together, to recognise the work done by its members and supporters in the aftermath of the horrendous floods which devastated Cockermouth last November.
